July 27th, 2018 (Atlanta, Ga) – Rock 100.5 FM Atlanta/WNNX’s Jason Bailey, host of the Bailey and Southside morning show, has been burning the candle at both ends this week. In the morning Jason hosts his live radio show from 6am to 10am and immediately after he’s been the voice of the BB&T Atlanta Open professional tennis tournament until late at night. The nine day tournament runs from July 22nd to July 30th and features stars from the tennis world such as John Isner, Jack Sock and the Bryan Brothers. Bailey also emceed the exhibition match between Venus Williams and Genie Bouchard.
To kick off the tournament Jason Bailey, who is also an avid tennis player himself, challenged listeners to guess how many points he could score in a 10 point tie-breaker match with professional tennis player Taylor Fritz. Whichever listener chose the correct number of points was selected to win VIP seats for the semi-finals on Saturday. The entire “Bailey vs. Pro” match was streamed live via Facebook. Matches of the BB&T Atlanta Open were broadcasted on ESPN 2 and ESPN 3.
